Hole 1 – La Bajada
A very challenging opening hole, from an elevated tee care must be taken with your drive as there is out of bounds all the way down the left and 2 lakes on the right hand side to catch out the unwary. Many players believe that this one of the toughest par 4 opening holes in the area.
Hole 2 – El Largo
The first par 5 hole on the course is fairly straight forward, get the drive right and a good birdie opportunity opens up.
Hole 3 – Los Olivos
The first par 3 is the longest on the course, play long as all the danger is to the front.
Hole 4 – La Rambla
This dogleg par 4 offers the big hitter a real birdie opportunity if you’re brave enough to cut the corner!
Hole 5 – El Corto
A par 3 with a slightly raised green which is well protected by greenside bunkers.
Hole 6 – La Curva
The second par 5 is a little more demanding, from a elevated tee with out of bounds all the way down the left. a drive to the corner is a must as the hole doglegs to the left.
Hole 7 – El Lago
Stroke index 1 with good reason, a good long drive is needed if you are to have any chance of reaching the green in regulation, the second shot is across a lake to a green well protected by bunkers.
Hole 8 – El Mirador
A short but tricky par 4, the elevated green is well protected by bunkers and accurate yardage is essential for your second uphill shot, you definitely don’t want to overshoot.
